LEPL Technical and Construction Supervision Agency (TCSA) operates under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

Technical and Construction Supervision Agency.

·  Conducts supervision of technically hazardous objects in order to ensure adequate level of human health, life and environment protection. Such objects are: cranes, pressure vessels, boilers, cableway installations, lifts, escalators, attractions, main oil and gas pipelines, mine extracting objects (pits, quarries), hydropower constructions and others. TCSA carries out compliance of technically hazardous objects with the safety requirements envisaged by Georgian technical legislation.

·   Issues Special construction permits and conducts supervision on maintenance of permission conditions.

·   Issues Permits for usage of explosive materials intended for industrial purposes.

In case of non-compliance the Agency is authorized to implement the sanctions.
